Voice of the Saxophone is a collection of Lieder and Art Song arranged for alto OR tenor saxophone and piano by Chris Condon. The goal of this book is to offer saxophonists of all levels a selection of lyrical pieces for study, recital, or special event performances. It also seeks to fill a pedagogical need for an instructional book solely dedicated to lyrical interpretation. Before each piece, you will find the original song text and an English translation. Following each poem is a brief history, analysis, and performance guide written by Megan Ihnen.
